Program on environmental education
Our little friends will learn about the existence of the turtle species ever since the prehistoric times, the Greek and European legislation protecting it, its habits, its kinds and the differences among them, as well as about the constant threats and dangers they are facing due to human activity.
The purpose of this activity is to inform and raise awareness among the participants about the ecological value of the area and the need to protect and maintain the biodiversity and its natural wealth. It is also demonstrated how important it is to conserve the protected area in a good ecological state, by highlighting the benefits for the local population.
The program is a part of the collaboration between Vamvakou Revival and Management Body of Mount Parnon and Moustos Wetland.
