Eleven-year-old Tony has a unique feature he was born with – he glows with a golden light. However, he prefers to hide it by wearing gloves and imaginative masks, while spending most of his time at home under his blanket. His dream is to make at least one friend. When peculiar Shelly moves into his building just before Christmas, the world of Tony turns upside down. Together, they embark on an adventurous search for the origin of the mysterious tufts of darkness which suck the sunshine out of their home and neighbourhood.
Movies at 900 meters – Cine Vamvakou! A significant element of the pioneering cultural activation of the village from a long time ago was the existence of a movie camera at the school in 1930. Yes; you heard right! In this little village, 94 years ago, movie screenings were taking place. Vamvakou Revival decided to revive this activity, giving the opportunity to children and grown-ups to watch unique movies at the school, in collaboration with the Athens International Children’s Film Festival.
