Giota Negka in Concert, Wellness and Mountain Activities
September and autumn have just appeared, yet in Vamvakou we still keep the warmth of summer and invite you to experience with us unique moments of relaxation and rejuvenation on the slopes of Mount Parnon. The village looks like it came out of a dream – and yet, you can live it awake! This month, we enjoy the melodic voice of Giota Negka under the starry sky, we find ourselves through unique wellness programs and walks in nature, and we live every moment with our loved ones in inspired and creative activities organized by Vamvakou Revival, as part of the Vamvakou Revival Initiative, with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
What would you say to reconnecting with our inner self before we sink into the fast rhythms of everyday life? We will combine yoga & sound therapy in an experience of connection between body, breath and sound, focusing on the present (06/09), while the young visitors of the village will explore unknown therapeutic sounds and auditory stimuli (07/09). In addition, we will enjoy our walks in nature and the trails of Vamvakou with organized hikes (06 & 20/09) or mountain bike rides (13 & 26/09). If you prefer complete relaxation with a soothing massage at the Traditional Guesthouse of Vamvakou, you can book your session with specialized therapists (06 & 20/09). In Vamvakou, creativity and multisensory play are for everyone. Inspired by nature and the enchanting scents of the forest, we will make our own soy candles from scratch (21/09). On this month’s Clay Play Stories (26/09), we will explore the shapes our dreams take through theatrical play and natural clay, and we will play freely in the most diverse, subversive, creative and alternative school – our own ‘’different school’’ (27/09).

An evening full of words and notes that unite generations and emotions. Giota Negka takes the stage at the school for a unique concert filled with passion and emotion. With her smile, bighearted presence, and characteristic “magkia” [street smarts] that complements her sensitivity, she invites us to an evening with songs from her personal discography and famous songs that marked the Greek music scene.
