Decorating ceramics using the Saggar pottery firing technique

Create your own ceramic using the traditional saggar technique! Start by working on a pre-fired piece, which we will cover with a thin layer of terra sigillata. We will then wrap it in “cocoons” made of clay sheets, together with organic and inorganic materials. After firing, the clay will take on earthy tones and unpredictable patterns, transforming your ceramic into a unique, handmade piece of art that you will keep forever.
