In Vamvakou Laconia, in the heart of Mount Parnon, the summer begins with a different vibe.

On June 28 & 29, 2025, the Vamvakou Experience Festival returns once again – bringing with it the most vibrant, inspiring, and authentic celebration of outdoor life you can imagine! For a fifth consecutive year, the village transforms into a colorful, immersive canvas full of music, heritage, gastronomy, performances, wellness, creative workshops, hands-on activities, and real stories. All brought to life by Vamvakou Revival, as part of the initiative supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

This is no ordinary event — we have a story to tell! Get ready for unforgettable live moments: electrifying concerts with Panos Vlachos, Skiadareses, and Encardia. Live cooking by star chef Akis Petretzikis. An open-fire gastronomy experience and artisanal bread tasting. Dance from the Greek National Opera Ballet. Techno Yoga, skateboard, adventure games and archery. Vamvakou has stories to share and so much more.

Vamvakou Laconia becomes the ultimate destination for those seeking something different – yet profoundly authentic. Walk through the cobbled village alleys, feel the rhythm of village life, and leave with memories that stay forever. Here, you are not just a visitor – you become part of the place, a part of us! If you are travelling to Vamvakou from afar to attend the Vamvakou Experience Festival, you can contact the EOS SPARTIS which manages the Parnonas Mountaineering Refuge. It is located within a few kilometers from the village, in the forest, and you can go by your own means and camp there upon request.
