The SNFCC Book Stroller heads for the mountains!

Can a library become an offline refuge? The mobile library of the Stavros Niarchos Park at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is “casting off” and making its way up the slopes of Mount Parnon. A collection of books featuring stories from around the world will settle into the idyllic setting of Vamvakou, in the courtyard of Rouga. There, where the sounds of the village meet breathtaking mountain views and the distant horizon, visitors will have the opportunity –from the opening until the closing of the Vamvakou Experience Festival– to borrow a book from the Book Stroller and enjoy reading in a peaceful setting interrupted only by the ticking of the clock or the birdsong.
