The Vamvakou Mountain Run returns for its 6th year, once again bringing together runners from all over Greece in one of the Peloponnese’s most authentic mountain landscapes.
Those interested are invited to register using this form. The race is open to all, and official electronic timing will be provided on all courses so that all runners can track their performance. All runners will receive a commemorative participation medal, and awards will be presented for the top performances. In addition to the awards, the organizers will hold a raffle for one lucky participant from each race. The prize will be announced shortly.
Awards
During the closing ceremony, medals will be awarded to the first 3 winners of the general rank for both Men and Women, to all races (29km, 19km και 7km respectively). Moreover, the first three winners from each age group (18-39, 40-59, 60+) will also be awarded. Runners who have already been awarded in the overall classification are excluded from this award.
The closing ceremony for the 7 km race, including the medal ceremony, will take place at 1:30 p.m.; the closing ceremony for the 19 km race, including the medal ceremony, will take place at 2:30 p.m., and at 4:30 p.m., the closing ceremony for the 29 km race will take place, featuring a medal ceremony.
