Kites fly in the skies for ages

In this two-hour session, we will talk about the history of kites around the world and their symbolism in Greek tradition. We will make our own kites employing the traditional loom weaving technique. Join us to revive gaitanaki, another popular custom of Clean Monday! Threads, yarns and colored ribbons take their place in children’s hands leading their imagination along the paths of art.
