Plein air painting

Summertime, life in the village, carefreeness, dirty hands and clothes, freedom and contact with nature. One of the children’s favourite activities is probably stone painting. For years now, every summer, wide and smooth stones have served as a canvas for children to express themselves creatively. That’s exactly what we’ll be doing in this workshop! After visiting certain spots in the village, we’ll capture its images and colors on stones, wood, and other natural materials. Our creations will remain in Vamvakou so that other visitors will have the chance to encounter them and to remind everyone of this year’s summer in the village, marking and adorning various points of interest.
